Honduras 2018 Brigade
We enjoyed our week in Honduras where we were fully interactive with the people and culture. We were partnered with Belmont University while on this brigade, which was a first-time opportunity for our chapter. While there, we collaborated in efforts to provide medical and dental care. We were also engaged in a water project while on this trip. We learned much about the way of life for Honduran people, while also sharing some of our American lifestyle and norms. We had a great time connecting with adults, but had an exceptional time with the kids. We were able to provide care to over 660 people while also educating the people on the importance of dental and medical hygiene. We left feeling satisfied in aiding to our ultimate goal of fully sustaining this area in the near future.
